Direct Spots & Pool Spots
The Road to Great Britain consist of 4 qualifying events starting with the 2023 Nationals (August 25-27 at Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort). Michigan had a single direct Men's spot to the team but ranking points will not be used from Michigan as it took place prior to the qualification process being announced.

The 4 RTGB events will provide the chance to earn automatic qualification if certain criteria are met. Any spots not earned directly will be awarded using a player ranking system. Players' total ranking will be calculated using their best 3 finishes from the 4 qualifying events.
Each event will be scored using the traditional AFGL 100-point scale. The criteria for earning an automatic spot on Team USA is outlined below. If international players are at the tournament they will be removed before the RTGB ranking is calculated. Direct sports where a requirement of "Top Placing Overall" is announced it will be calculated before any international player is removed. (i.e. you must finish top 5 in the entire field of your category).
